My name is Erin Schwartz, and I run Big Mutts w/ Wiggly Butts pet care. It has been my dream for years to open my own pet care business. I have always had my own animals, as well as always taking care of the family pets while working as a nanny in my previous career of 20 years. My passion for large dogs and giant breeds went into high gear a little over 3 years ago when my husband and I adopted our first American Bulldog, Loki. Loki completely changed our world, as he was quite challenging and required serious behavioral training. A year and a half later we adopted our second American Bulldog, Siggy. Siggy led us on a completely different complicated journey, as she required double CCL surgeries to repair her damaged knees. This journey of behavioral training and medical recovery has led me to the realization that my calling is to work with dogs. These experiences with my own complicated giant dogs have given me the skills and knowledge to be able to confidently handle and meet the needs of large dogs. I have experience with all sizes of dogs (and cats), but the big dogs have a special place in my heart. I understand what it is like to search for a person who can handle my dogs, love them as much as I do, and have the ability to meet their unique individual needs.
